What Products Qualify for the NSW Government ESS Scheme?
The NSW Government ESS Scheme covers various technologies aimed at improving energy efficiency, including:
- Air Conditioners: Only split system air conditioners with a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of 3.5 or higher are eligible for rebates. Window-mounted units are excluded.
- Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems: Eligible solar PV systems must have a minimum capacity of 1 kW. This also applies to aggregated installations meeting or exceeding 1 kW. All components must comply with Australian and relevant international standards, and installers must be accredited by the Clean Energy Council (CEC).
- Lighting: The scheme supports a variety of lighting technologies, including LEDs, fluorescent lights, high-pressure sodium vapour lights, and induction lights, all of which are eligible for rebates.
